Welcome to the new Mass. Civic Youth Website, hosted by Social Capital Inc. (SCI). On January 4, Governor Patrick held a special, unprecedented Youth Inaugural event designed to engage youth in the process of improving their communities and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. This website was initially established to help ensure this Inaugural event inspires and supports youth as they embark upon a life of active citizenship. It now serves as an ongoing resource for young people interested in making a difference in Massachusetts communities.
Please note that the purpose of this site is to give youth a voice and a platform for civic engagement that improves the Commonwealth of Mass. The views expressed by youth on this site are their own, and do not necessarily reflect the views of SCI or the Patrick Administration.
Get Involved
The Youth Making Mass section of the site is a place to highlight the many different ways youth are making a difference around the state. Tell your other Young Mass. friends about what’s happening to make your community and your state a better place. And please post pictures of youth making a difference!
The Young Mass Calendar is the place to post events FOR YOUNG PEOPLE related to themes of civic engagement and making a difference.
